  • 5+ years’ experience working as a marine technician
  • Identified area of expertise: paint and gelcoat repair or mechanical or sailboat rigging or varnish and woodworking or CDL/boat moving
  • Active team player, willing to help out in all areas of need
  • Ability to climb ladders and stairs, to lift up to 50 pounds consistently, and to get on/off in and around boats of varying sizes
  • Ability to work outdoors in all conditions
  • Willingness to learn and advance knowledge and skills

  • Driver’s license and clean driving record

Boat Mover with CDL Class A – Harbor Springs

  • · Safely operate company semi-truck and other work trucks to haul boats locally
  • · Assist in moving boats on and off of cradles and trailers
  • · Strategically position boats in storage buildings for ease of winter work and spring time launch
  • · Willingness to learn and perform other marina specific skills, appropriate for various seasons
  • · Maintain cleanliness and safety of company vehicles and facilities
  • · Report all safety concerns to management
  • · Follow all DOT and OSHA regulations and rules of the Company
  • Other duties as assigned

Executive Assistant – Service – Charlevoix, MI

  • Customer Service – Greet, Serve, Follow-up, Communicate
  • Communication – Email, Phone, Text, In-Person
  • Service – Learn our business, Answer Questions, Support Service Office and Service Manager, Protect the Schedule
  • Organize – Keep accurate records, Be able to handle interruptions and resume tasks, Keep track of day-to-day and future needs, Keep track of multiple people
  • Computer Systems – Make use of all systems to keep organized and allow for ease of communication, Typing, Be able to make use of systems to aid in accuracy and efficiency

Retail Team Leader (Seasonal) – Charlevoix, MI

  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Train and manage store and dockage staff
  • Assure daily task are delegated to team members every morning
  • Research, update, and communicate product sources, which could increase volume and profitability of the sales operation
  • Complete purchase orders, receive product, and properly price product for sale
  • Assure products are transferred properly between locations
  • Keep up-to-date on new products and services offered
  • Maintain the store in a neat, orderly fashion; make replacements and improvements as necessary
  • Make sure that all stock pricing is up-to-date and on the shelves in a timely fashion.
  • Display and maintain all store fixtures and inventory in an attractive format
  • Carry out the year-end inventory and any intermediate inventories required throughout the fiscal year
  • If a price is requested then we must give a written quotation by which we will stand, never give verbal quotes or estimates.
  • Communicate with Store Manager and Human Resources consistently regarding staff challenges, successes and needs
  • Show initiative to assist where needed when business is slow
  • Contribute to the overall success and appearance of the Marina
  • Other duties as assigned
