There are six closed chocks and cleats, including two springline cleats amid- ships. The boat has a large aluminum framed translucent skylight hatch and seven aluminum framed translucent opening ports with screens. The translucent sliding companionway hatch is fitted with a molded spray hood. Two large side deck scuppers lead to through-hulls near the waterline.
Cockpit
The main halyard is led aft to a Barient No. 18 winch and cleat on the port side of the cabin house. The two inboard reef lines lead aft to cleats on the port cabin top. The two outboard reef lines lead to a Barient No. 8P winch on the starboard side and the wishbone control line ("choker") and topping lift lead aft through sheet stoppers to a separate Barient No. 8P winch outboard to starboard. There are seat hatches in each side with deep divided stowage bins. A Barient No. 17 self-tailing winch for the main sheet is located on the starboard coaming.
Spars and Rigging
The mast is a spun tapered free-standing anodized aluminum spar with an anodized masthead casting and aluminum halyard sheave. The halyard is low-stretch Dacron. The running rigging was replaced recently. The mast has a PVC wiring duct and is grounded directly to the keel. The wishbone boom is a roll-formed anodized aluminum tubular assembly with aluminum end castings hung from the mast with vinyl coated 7 x 19 stainless steel cables.
