Description

FRESH WATER / LOW HOURS / LOTS OF UPGRADES

This 2001 Grand Banks Eastbay 38 Express Hard-top will fit you well if cruising at speeds of 28 knots in exceptional style and comfort sound like your kind of water-ride. Overall, the protection and ventilation offered by the hard top design is hard to beat, a fact that's of special interest to those of you who are dedicated to all-weather fast cruising. Many owners also praise the 38 Eastbay's all-important design extra; the versatile helm deck. With the canvas curtains you can close off the helm deck and expand the amount of living space. As for traditional craftsmanship, expect the exceptional attention to detail so apparent in each Grand Banks-crafted, C. Raymond Hunt-designed yacht. From the high-quality finish in the interior of the hard top, to the teak decking in the cockpit, helm area and cabin sole, all is as you would wish from one of the world's leading yacht makers. Overall, the Eastbay 38 is a solid, well-built cruising boat with a user-friendly helm deck, a large cockpit and a one-stateroom, one-head layout below that is perfect for the small family or cruising couple. This two-owner, fresh water boat has low hours for her age, has been professionally maintained, stored indoors heated and is available for your inspection.

Below Deck

The quality and care with which the Eastbay was constructed continues to be clearly evident below deck. To port, a well-equipped galley as well as generous storage and counter space makes on board living a pleasant cruising experience. Across from the galley is a dining/salon area that features a handsomely crafted teak table surrounded on three sides by a comfortable settee. Even better, the table can be lowered to create a double berth for overnight guests. As for the forward stateroom, a traditional V-berth with lots of storage and an overhead hatch.
