Irish Boat Shop Tip Policy

We are your premier northern Michigan boat dealer. Our customers have come to expect outstanding service, and we work hard to provide it to everyone.  Our business is to get you out on the water, enjoying your boat in a way that’s easy and hassle free.

A lot goes on behind the scenes to successfully execute our mission, and our team makes it look easy. Whether it is one of our store crew keeping the docks clean, or our accounting assistants answering your billing questions, or our service staff greeting you in the yard, it takes a team effort to create a satisfied customer.  We expect all our employees to provide the highest quality service during each customer interaction. That is the most basic job requirement here at Irish Boat Shop.  We are proud of our employees and the great job they do for you.

We believe this level of service should come at no additional cost to you – so, we ask our crew to decline tips or gifts.  If you receive outstanding service from one of our crew and you wish to recognize them, please share your experience with Shae Cross, President (sbcross@irishboatshop.com).  Each and every note we receive from a customer is shared with the individual team member and the group as a whole.  This gives us the chance to share your appreciation with everyone – the front-line person who worked directly with you, and the whole team that supported their work.
