Irish Boat Shop Photo Contest Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to the Irish Boat Shop Photo Contest. By entering this contest, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. The contest is organized by Irish Boat Shop.

2. Eligibility

The contest is open to all individuals aged 13 and over, and who reside in the Great Lakes Region. Employees of Irish Boat Shop are not eligible to participate.

3. Entry Period

The contest begins on July 4^th 2024 and ends on September 2^nd 2024. All entries must be submitted during this period to be considered.

4. How to Enter

To enter the contest, participants must:

Submit an original photo that captures the joy of boating in Northern Michigan.

Complete the required information on the provided entry form.

Agree to these terms and conditions.

5. Photo Requirements

Photos must be original and taken by the participant.

Photos should be high-resolution

File size may be no greater than 10MB

Photos must not contain any offensive or inappropriate content.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

By submitting a photo, participants grant Irish Boat Shop a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display the photo in any media for any purpose related to the contest and promotional activities.

7. Judging Criteria and Selection of the Winner and Runner-Up

Photos will be judged based on creativity, originality, and relevance to the contest theme of boating. Including but not limited to, marine lifestyle, pets, fishing and recreation, and seascapes. Three Irish Boat Shop employees will be selected to form a judging panel where all photo submissions will be narrowed down to a group of 5 finalists. The final photos will then be posted to the Irish Boat Shop Facebook page for voting by the Facebook community.

8. Prizes

The selected winner and runner up will be notified by October 1^st

Prizes are as follows:

First Prize: $100 Dollars, Irish Boat Shop Logo Gear Basket, and a Social Media Shout-out.

Second Prize: Social Media Shout-Out

Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternatives will be offered.

9. Notification of Winners

Winners will be notified via email and must respond within 7 days to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond within this period, the prize may be forfeited and awarded to the runner-up.

10. Privacy

Participants’ personal information will be used solely for the purpose of administering the contest and in accordance with Irish Boat Shop’s privacy policy.

11. Limitation of Liability

Irish Boat Shop is not responsible for any technical issues, lost or delayed entries, or any other events outside of its control that may affect the contest. Additionally, Irish Boat Shop is not responsible for any injuries that occur as a result of individuals participating in the contest or during the activities depicted in the photos.

12. Governing Law

The contest and these terms and conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan. Should there be any legal dispute, it will be held in the court district of Irish Boat Shop’s location.

13. Modification of Terms

Irish Boat Shop reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on the contest website.

14. Acceptance of Terms

By participating in the contest, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
