Have you ever noticed what is missing at the Venetian Festival?
It isn’t live entertainment. During Venetian week, bands in East Park and throughout town will be jumping with a wide variety of music, including national acts like Loverboy (2017) and The Guess Who (2016).
It isn’t the activities. Kid’s Day at Lake Michigan beach provides a slew of low and no cost children’s entertainment and the Venetian Games includes soccer, basketball, running, sailing, volleyball and more. Spectator opportunities are spilling over at the seams with the street and boat parades being the highest attended of all the Venetian activities.
It isn’t the fireworks that are missing, with two nights of world class fireworks displays that have been recognized by USA Today as one of the 5 premier displays in North America.
What is missing at the Charlevoix Venetian Festival is the admission prices. All of the major events and entertainment offered at the Venetian Festival are absolutely free to the public. Bring your chair, grab some food from the local restaurants and vendors and enjoy the music as it fills the streets of Charlevoix.
