Ladies at the Helm – All About Knots

Ladies at the Helm is a series designed to introduce, educate, and empower women in the boating world! Started at Irish Boat Shop in Traverse City, Michigan, Ladies at the Helm is a monthly social and educational get together created by women for women.

Thursday, September 20th is All About Knots! Please join us from 5:30-7 p.m. for an evening of learning and socializing. The free 20-30 minute class will start at 5:45 with the following objectives:

• To be able to properly tie, identify, and correctly use the chosen knots
• Understand how knots compromise line
• Understand how type of knots affects the knot

Please feel free to BYOB, and we will have light snacks. We will have available any supplies needed and will send you home with resources to continue learning on your own time. Any skill level is welcome! Please send your RSVP to kemanthei@irishboatshop.com.
